Local journalist J.D. Mullane has been the most dogged reporter following the murder trial of Kermit Gosnell. When most media outlets ignored the trial of the abortion practitioner, Mullane was there chronicling every day of it.

In a new interview with pro-life former governor and Fox News host Mike Huckabee, Mullane talks about how the power of what Gosnell did changed one reporter’s mind on abortion.

“That’s the power of the Gosnell trial,” he said.

“There is one journalist sitting in that courtroom who writes for a local publication who has told me that he is very liberal, very pro-choice, but after sitting through the testimony in the Gosnell trial, he’s reconsidered. He’s changed his mind,” Mullane says in the interview .

“Gosnell pulls the curtain back from the inherent violence of abortion,” Mullane said. “You can’t sit in that courtroom and learn about what abortion does to the unborn child and to the woman in many cases,” the reporter explained to Huckabee. “You can’t sit there day after day and week after week and listen to that testimony and not be changed, and not have a change of heart, or at least reconsider your position.”
