Actress Margaret Colin appears in a new video asking New York state residents why they would want a higher abortion rate when it is already the highest in the nation.

The new video from the actress known for her role as Margo Montgomery Hughes on As the World Turns and for her role as Eleanor Waldorf-Rose on Gossip is meant to raise awareness about a pro-abortion bill New York Gov. Andrew Cuomo is promoting.

Feminists for Life president Serrin Foster provides LifeNews with more details:

In our new video, FFL activist and actor Margaret Colin speaks out for women and girls in New York state, which already has the highest rate of abortion in the country.

Feminists for Life of America is extremely concerned about advocacy efforts by abortion advocates across the country that puts the interest of abortion providers and criminals before the health and safety of women and girls.

Be assured, our goal is not safer abortions, but resources and support so that no woman, no girl finds herself desperate enough to seek an abortion. Abortion only masks the problem women face.

I invite you to watch the first of two powerful videos featuring Margaret Colin, who has been recognized by Feminists for Life as a Remarkable Pro-Life Woman. Then go to  www.feministsforlife.org/WDB for more information.

If you are in New York, now is the time to tell your legislators that women deserve better–so do our daughters!
