A new video produced by a third party to promote the March for Life in advance of the pro-life march on January 25 have produced a new video that makes it appear President Barack Obama is endorsing the event.

The video contains images of President Obama’s speech following the tragic shootings at the elementary school in Newtown, Connecticut. The address contains pro-life themes about the respect for and dignity of human life.

They are appropriate for the aftermath of the shooting but the producers of the video believe they also would be equally appropriate for noting the travesty of 55 million abortions. However, some pro-life advocates are responding saying they think the video is exploitative of the shootings and in poor taste.

But, sadly, Obama has presided over the most pro-abortion record of any president in history.

The video also contains pro-life images and a link to the March for Life web site.

UPDATE:  Jeanne Monahan, president of March for Life, told LifeNews that her organization did not produce the video and did not endorse the video when asked for support for it.

The text of Obama’s follows:

The majority of those who died today were children — beautiful little kids between the ages of 5 and 10 years old.  They had their entire lives ahead of them — birthdays, graduations, weddings, kids of their own.  Among the fallen were also teachers — men and women who devoted their lives to helping our children fulfill their dreams.

So our hearts are broken today — for the parents and grandparents, sisters and brothers of these little children, and for the families of the adults who were lost.  Our hearts are broken for the parents of the survivors as well, for as blessed as they are to have their children home tonight, they know that their children’s innocence has been torn away from them too early, and there are no words that will ease their pain.
