The nation’s largest abortion company is up with a new television ad blasting Mitt Romney over his positions to overturn Roe v. Wade and revoke its taxpayer funding.

The new ad comes after Romney’s comments yesterday that he will govern as a pro-life president and will work to stop funding the abortion giant on both a domestic and international level. Planned Parenthood’s new commercials will air in the battleground states of Virginia and Colorado.

Planned Parenthood followed up the ad with an “emergency” fundraising request sent to its members.

Here’s Mitt Romney speaking to anti-women’s health supporters at an Ohio rally: “The actions I’ll take immediately is to remove funding for Planned Parenthood.”

Yesterday, Romney made his pro-life views clear  in response to a question from a reporter on the campaign trail in Ohio.

Romney said he would govern as a pro-life president, de-fund the nation’s largest abortion company, and reinstate a policy preventing taxpayer funding of international abortion promotion efforts on the part of Planned Parenthood.

“I think I’ve said time and again that I’m a pro-life candidate and I’ll be a pro-life president. The actions  I’ll take immediately is to remove funding for Planned Parenthood.  It will not be part of my budget. And also I’ve indicated that I will reverse the Mexico City position of the president. I will reinstate the Mexico City policy which keeps us from using foreign aid for abortions overseas,” he said, according to Politico.
