Dozens of pro-life advocates gathered yesterday in front of the White House to protest the HHS mandate, which will force people of faith and conscience to violate their deeply held values and convictions by funding abortion drugs.

Reverend Pat Mahoney, Kathleen Burke and Joan Andrews Bell were among those arrested and Rev. Mahoney shared on his Facebook page:

“We wanted to send a clear message to the Obama Administration that we would rather spend time in jail than comply with unjust and immoral government HHS mandates. Revered and legendary pro-life activist Joan Andrews Bell went to the hospital after falling in jail when she went non-compliance. It appears it was an accident and all she will require is stitches. Joan Andrews Bell is a hero and she is staying in jail as a prisoner of conscience with John McGowen and Bill Raiser!”
