President Barack Obama is not running away from his extensive pro-abortion record. Although he is employing euphemisms to not have to refer to the word abortion and his support for it, Obama is campaigning on a pro-abortion platform.

David Schmidt of Live Action noticed last week that, as he says, “the Obama campaign has been running web ads declaring its support for abortion under the euphemism of “choice.

“Notice the campaign rhetoric of “right to choose” and “choice” that conveniently leaves out the unsavory a-word, abortion,” he said.

The ad directs visitors to the following page attacking Mitt Romney on abortion:

This past weekend, in the kickoff for his campaign at a rally in Ohio, Obama attacked Republicans and Republican presidential candidate Mitt Romney for starting a “political fight” over abortion and religious liberties when it comes to the mandate Obama put in place that requires religious groups to pay for birth control and drugs that can cause abortions for their employees.

“We don’t need another political fight about ending a woman’s right to choose, or getting rid of Planned Parenthood — or taking away access to affordable birth control. I want women to control their own health choices, just like I want my daughters to have the same opportunities as your sons.”
