Exposing Obama’s False Claims About a War on Women

President Barack Obama and his pro-abortion allies at Planned Parenthood are falsely claiming that pro-life advocates are launching a war on women.  This is a vicious lie.  There is a war on women going on–but it’s an offensive launched by the abortion industry.

Pro-abortion forces are trying to expand abortion through Obama’s health care plan.  Under the plan, abortions would skyrocket–it would be the largest expansion of abortion since Roe versus Wade.  This is because the federal health care law includes public funding of abortion–and we know from experience that when the government funds abortion, the abortion rate increases dramatically.

And here in Pennsylvania, abortion centers are hiding critical information from women-by refusing to show them the ultrasound images of their precious preborn children.  At times, such ultrasound images can also be critically important in saving a pregnant woman’s life.

Female children are being brutalized in their mother’s wombs.  The abortion industry is killing off a generation of women under the guise of “choice.”

Women suffer tremendously as a result of widespread abortion.  Published studies clearly show that abortion increases the risk of drug abuse, alcoholism, and depression.  Many women suffer in silence, afraid to reveal their pain to those closest to them.  This is because a woman’s relatives and friends are often the ones who pressured her to have an abortion.

It is time for the rabid rhetoric to stop.  Abortion advocates are deceiving the American public.  The most dangerous place for a woman today is actually in her mother’s womb–and that’s due to the grisly business of abortion.  Those who truly care about the fate of women will do all they can to repeal the health care law, fight for the right of women to see ultrasounds,  and end the bloodshed caused by abortion.
