Two national pro-life groups that have endorsed pro-life Republican presidential candidate Rick Santorum have launched a new road tour that will have them raising support for his campaign in the state of Michigan, which votes next Tuesday.

The Susan B. Anthony List, Culture War Victory Fund, Catholic Vote, Campaign for Working Families and Let Freedom Ring will launch a six-day bus tour and pro-life grassroots mobilization effort across the state of Michigan to support Rick Santorum’s presidential candidacy leading up to the Tuesday primary.

“Among the field of strong pro-life candidates in the GOP primary, Rick Santorum stands out as a proven leader.  None of the candidates have the record of consistent leadership that Rick Santorum has demonstrated on these key issues,” said Rep. Marilyn Musgrave, Project Director at SBA List, which recently endorsed Santorum.

Brian Burch of Catholic vote added, “CatholicVote is hitting the road in Michigan to propel Rick Santorum to victory. We’ve teamed up with leading pro-life and pro-family groups for a 5-day bus tour across Michigan. I hope to see as many CatholicVote activists at these stops as possible – and please bring your friends and family! We’ll be giving away signs, stickers, palm cards and more. You are not going to want to miss these exciting events.”

“Why is the CV hitting the road in Michigan to support Rick Santorum?” he asked. “Because the Michigan primary will be a game changer — and we must back up our endorsement with concrete action to help propel Senator Santorum to victory.”

“Rick Santorum understands that we must restore our economy and renew our culture at the same time,” he said. “Most importantly, we need a candidate that can defeat Barack Obama. And more and more voters are now concluding the way to do that is to nominate Rick Santorum.”

Burch said his group has radio ads touting Santorum that have been airing on Catholic radio stations in Michigan since Friday.

Some of the pro-life activists who will be on the bus tour include Marilyn Musgrave, Vice President of Government Affairs at SBA List and former Member of Congress from Colorado; Maggie Gallagher, Director of Culture War Victory Fund; Brian Burch, Founder of Catholic Vote; Gary Bauer, President of Campaign for Working Families; Colin Hanna, Let Freedom Ring.

Santorum picked up the endorsement of a pro-life group in Idaho today. The endorsement comes on the heels of an endorsement Santorum received from Arizona Right to Life before that state’s election next week.

Last week, the Susan B. Anthony List endorsed Santorum. Before that, CatholicVote.org, a leading national grassroots Catholic advocacy organization, said it “proudly” endorses Santorum, the former Pennsylvania senator. Santorum has also picked up support from Gary Bauer, Abby Johnson, and numerous evangelical leaders.

The endorsement also follows on the heels of one from Georgi Right to Life for Santorum and Newt Gingrich. That earned the group pushback from the National Right to Life committee, its parent organization, which has taken the position that each of the four Republican candidates are pro-life enough to be significantly better than Obama and has not endorsed any candidate.

Mitt Romney has recently received his own pro-life endorsements, including from James Bopp, one of the top pro-life attorneys in the nation who has served as legal counsel for the National Right to Life Committee, Christian Coalition, Citizens United and the Republican Party.
