The Ireland-based pro-life group Youth Defence is wishing the Irish people and people of the world a Merry Christmas with a new video that features powerful fetal development images.

“A Pro-life Christmas message against abortion : The Wonder of Life” is drawing rave reviews from those who have seen it.

The pro-life group says, “It’s easy to see why the Christmas story has such special significance for the pro-life message.”

“The baby born in a humble stable, under stressful and sometimes fearful conditions, to a young mother and her spouse who were unsure as to what the future would bring,” Youth Defence adds. “But then, as His mother wrapped Him in swaddling clothes and laid Him in a manger, a star shone down on this precious child, and the night sky was filled with angels. The birth of Christ, our God and Saviour, is surely the most beautiful story ever told. And in its telling we realize that every life is a gift, to be cherished and protected.”

“This beautiful pro-life message from Youth Defence is the first Internet video to interweave the Nativity and the wonder of life in the womb. The soundtrack to the advert is too cute for words, and the closing sentences pitch this pro-life message perfectly as a Christmas greeting,” it adds. “This is Christmas week, when the world seeks meaning, and celebrates the birth of the Christ-child. Share this beautiful video, like it, post it on Facebook, make it a Christmas message to remember.”
