The liberal activist group MoveOn.org is helping the Planned Parenthood abortion business in the wake of videos showing its staff aiding two alleged sexual traffickers with obtaining abortions and STD testing for underage girls.

The videos have already prompted a Planned Parnthood affiliate in New Jersey to fire a staffer and the New Jersey attorney general is looking into the allegations behind the video and checking out a shady abortion business to which Planned Parenthood makes referrals.

But MoveOn.org is busy helping the abortion business counteract the negative media attention the video is receiving. In emails to its supporters, it is criticizing mainstream media publications The Hill, the Wall Street Journal and NPR for not doing enough to attack Live Action, the pro-life group that recorded the undercover investigation and released the videos.

According to The Hill, “Tell The Hill to take down the article unless they update it to include this source’s history of lying, doctoring video and using illegal means to obtain information,” the group said in its e-mail.

“We weren’t thinking of it strictly as a defense of Planned Parenthood,” MoveOn spokeswoman Ilyse Hogue told The Hill. “Our members have definitely expressed a need for years and years for media to report the background and do some investigations.”

Live Action has received help from conservative media guru Andrew Breitbart in distributing and getting attention for the videos and Breitbart is known for having taken on ACORN, the liberal community housing group that has strong support from MoveOn.org
