A woman has been victimized by an apparent botched abortion at a Planned Parenthood abortion facility in Boston, Massachusetts.

Two ambulances and a fire truck arrived around mid-morning at the Planned Parenthood center on Friday, according to pro-life advocates who were outside the center offering abortion alternatives help to women.

Pro-lifers on the scene said they saw one woman wheeled out the front door on a gurney and loaded into one of the awaiting ambulances. Bill Kotter of Operation Rescue Boston, a local pro-life group, provided details on the incident to Operation Rescue, a national organization that monitors abortion centers and how they hurt women.

Operation Rescue president Troy Newman told LifeNews.com today there is a clear pattern in the abortion industry to call ambulances only in the event of a life-threatening emergency, making it so he is gravely concerned about the welfare of the woman victimized by the failed abortion.

“Ambulances at abortion clinics make them look bad and drive off business. Even when life-threatening abortion complications exist, we have seen numerous examples where abortion clinics have refused to call ambulances, so in this case, you could say the woman was lucky,” Newman said.

“The dangers women face at abortion clinics like Planned Parenthood cannot be underestimated because the clinics operate in secrecy with almost no accountability,” said Newman.
The pro-life advocate said the botched abortion is yet another reason why the abortion business should no longer receive federal funds, or taxpayer dollars of any kind.

“To add insult to injury, these abortion mills operate with our tax dollars propping them up. Over 70% of Americans are opposed to paying Planned Parenthood to take the lives of innocent babies and injury women through shoddy practice,” he said.

Newman endorsed a bill sponsored in Congress by pro-life Indiana Rep. Mike pence that would revoke federal taxpayer funding for the Planned Parenthood abortion business.

The Title X Abortion Provider Prohibition Act ensures that taxpayer money authorized by the federal government for family planning efforts supposedly to reduce abortions don’t go to the nation’s biggest abortion business.

Last year alone, according to Planned Parenthood’s own annual report, it received more than $363 million in revenue from government grants and contracts. During that same timeframe, it did 324,008 abortions, a 5.8 percent increase from the previous year, which also set a record high at that time.

“If Planned Parenthood did not have hundreds of millions of our tax dollars flooding their coffers each year, they would not be able to continue to operate on their present scale. Cutting off funding to Planned Parenthood would save lives protect women from suffering the same fate as the woman seen headed to the emergency room last Friday. We support Rep. Pence’s legislation one hundred percent,” said Newman.
