Live Action has made a national name for itself because of its undercover investigations of abortion centers showing video footage of staff misleading women on abortion’s risks and fetal development.

The youth-led pro-life organization has also caught Planned Parenthood red-handed in covering up potential cases of statutory rape and staff members have been fired from their positions as a result.

Now, Live Action is preparing to launch several major investigations of the abortion industry next year and launching a new fundraising campaign designed to cover the expenses associated with it.

“Our previous investigations have revealed shocking video evidence against commercialized abortion and prompted legislators and law enforcement to hold Planned Parenthood accountable,” says president Lila Rose.

She told LifeNews.com: “With recent unprecedented pro-life gains in state and local government, now is a critical time for the pro-life movement to keep the pressure on the abortion industry.”

Since 2007, Rose has led teams of young people undercover into dozens of Planned Parenthood clinics across the country, documenting rampant sexual abuse cover-up, violation of parental consent and notification laws, and medical misinformation at the nation’s largest chain of abortion businesses. Live Action’s investigations have reached a direct audience of tens of millions of Americans, and Live Action was recently featured in the nationally-broadcast CNN documentary, “Right on the Edge.”

In the last year, Live Action’s youth team has also educated hundreds of thousands of college and high school students through educational presentations, social media and the national student magazine, The Advocate.

One of the latest video exposes’ Live Action released involved an undercover video taken of staff at a Planned Parenthood abortion business in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. https://www.lifenews.com/2010/03/01/state-4855/

The video showed staffers pressuring a woman to have an abortion and giving medically inaccurate abortion counseling and distorting basic facts of fetal development at the taxpayer-funded abortion center.

Staffers emphasize the difficulties of adoption and urge her to obtain an abortion as quickly as possible, saying images of babies killed in abortions are fabricated and saying an unborn child at 6 to 8 weeks has no “identifiable parts” and is just “fetal matter.”

“You know, there’s midnight feedings, diapers, money,” the staffer says, emphasizing the “problems” of keeping the baby. “I mean, the state can help you with insurance, but after that, babies do cost a lot and right now the economy’s pretty bad.”

Telling the young woman that having a baby is expensive, the staffer adds, “Yeah so I mean if you don’t feel financially stable or you don’t feel ready to have a baby, then I would go with an abortion.”

In the video, a Planned Parenthood employee tells a woman who is reportedly 6-8 weeks pregnant that her unborn child has “no arms, no legs, no heart no head, no brain” despite medical and scientific facts of fetal development.

“There’s not a baby at this point,” the Planned Parenthood official tells the young woman considering abortion. “You wouldn’t be able to identify any parts of the fetus whatsoever. But at this point there’s nothing developed at all. There’s no legs no arms, no head, no brain, no heart. At this point it’s just the embryo itself.”

The staffer encourages the abortion further saying that the cost will go up the longer the young woman takes to make her decision. [related]

Live Action previously highlighted problems at Planned Parenthoods in California, Indiana, Arizona, Tennessee, and Alabama.

The Alabama Department of Health put a Birmingham Planned Parenthood on probation after finding numerous additional legal violations after the video prompted officials there to conduct an investigation.
