Houston, TX (LifeNews.com) — The gigantic abortion facility planned Parenthood now runs in Houston is a seven story, 78,000 square foot center that will eventually do abortions later in pregnancy. But, one Planned Parenthood official recently offered up a blasphemous prayer using religious terms for it.

As Jim Sedlak of STOPP International noticed in a news report, the pro-abortion official referred to the place built for the purpose of killing unborn children in abortion as “sacred and holy ground.”

“Planned Parenthood is so much more than people think, and it is all of our job to tell everyone that it is not just associated with a certain word," the official said, referring to abortion.

Calling the largest abortion center in the nation “sacred and holy ground," the official referred to it as “The Planned Parenthood Prevention Park."

But Sedlak says he has a better term for it: a facility that is "killing preborn babies up to 16 weeks gestation, with plans to commence late term abortions up to 20 weeks in the near future."

"Planned Parenthood falls deeper and deeper into the dark abyss created by its own web of deception," he says of the euphemisms.

The pro-life advocate applauded "Houston Coalition for Life and the many protesters who were on hand for the opening of this horrific edifice to evil, praying and letting the world know that these babies will not die alone and forgotten."

He said local pro-life advocates have sent "a very loud and clear message that Planned Parenthood will not kill preborn babies without being challenged."

Sedlak also condemned Houston mayor Annise Parker, who spoke in support of Planned Parenthood at the opening.

“It’s not about the building; it’s about people’s lives; it is not about women, it is about families; and it’s not about what we do here today, it’s about our future,” the mayor said.

Sedlak responded, "No matter where you live, it would be entirely appropriate to write, phone or email the mayor and ask her just how brutally killing children up to 20 weeks gestation helps the families and the future of Houston."

"And remember, this facility is located in the midst of four huge minority neighborhoods," he said.

He noted that Parker serves on the board of directors of Girls, Inc., among other community organizations, and it has partnered up with Planned Parenthood in the past.
