Washington, DC (LifeNews.com) — Former vice presidential candidate Sarah Palin continues helping pro-life organizations around the nations raise money for critically-needed efforts. Last night, she joined pro-life Texas Gov. Rick Perry to support Heroic Media, a group that spread the pro-life message via television and radio advertising.

Palin turned her attention to the Obama administration and called Barack Obama “the most pro-abortion president to ever occupy the White House.”

She also took a shot at Obama saying some politicians just believe abortion is another political issue to debate "or those who say the argument is above their pay grade, but that’s a cop-out."

On the other hand, she praised Texas for its “so many pro-life pro-family legislators” and “my friend Rick Perry.”

“You’re not afraid to cling to your guns and your religion,” she told the pro-life people in attendance, according to the Houston Chronicle.

Perry joined in on exposing Obama’s pro-abortion record and focused on him overturning the Mexico City Policy and forcing Americans to pay for funding groups that promote and perform abortions overseas.

“America is in the business of exporting abortion. I’m not happy about that,” Perry said and, saying of unborn children, “Too bad we can’t protect them from the federal government."

Palin said Heroic Media celebrates the "heroism of motherhood" and she described her "personal journey as a mom" of a child who has Down syndrome.

"God knows what he’s doing," she said. "He’s not going to overwhelm us with something we can’t handle."

She added that after Roe v. Wade, "we were told to sit down and shut up, but instead you went rogue" — a reference to her popular autobiography, Going Rogue.

Palin is set to speak at the Uptown Women’s Center fundraising event in Dallas tonight to help the pregnancy center assist women in need.

The former Alaska governor will headline yet another pro-life event, this time serving as the keynote speaker for the Susan B. Anthony List at their Celebration of Life Breakfast in May.

Palin’s appearance in Texas follows her appearance at a pro-life event in Ohio earlier this month.
